Location: Dubai
Only candidates with visit visa or employment visa with NOC can apply for this position. Having a valid UAE driving license with be added value while selection procedure.
Major Responsibilities
Installing, supporting and maintaining new and existing desktops, printers, scanners etc.
Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords
Creating and troubleshooting of internet connectivity and e-mail accounts
(Re)Installing operating system, Anti- virus and Outlook
Lift, carry and move components like workstations, servers, network equipment’s, peripherals, and other ancillary equipment’s
Resolving faults, whether it is a major system crash or part of daily operation
Collaborating with Information Services members to support end-users
Managing and keeping internal networks running
Required Skills and knowledge:
Desktop and laptop installation and problem resolution in a Windows XP environment
A thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking
Knowledge and understanding of VPN connectivity
Common understanding of TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, etc.
Excellent knowledge of installing, configuring and troubleshooting of HP clients
Be able to connect the machines using Wireless Access Points
